Not all GM sports cars are Corvettes.

It will be called a Chaparral. Or I hope it is called one.
And then ditch the Cadillac name in the DPi car and call it a Chaparral, too.

Chaparral was an independent race team, not a Chevy brand. I see no chance of this. A “Zora” sub-brand (or making it a Cadillac) makes more sense.

They are certainly testing the new car using a Corvette-based body, which gave me/other people this impression.
So they’re making a new mid-engined sports car? Where did you read about this? (because I’d like to read the articles too)

Guess we’ll have to wait til ‘21 or something.
At least that’s what Autoblog says.
In the meantime, 2018 ‘vettes will get DOHC (again, this is Autoblog).

It’s the new Corvair. Mid engined to appease Nader.
